Personal Profile

My passion is animation and storytelling - I love the process of bringing characters and their stories to life, filled with humour, heart and wonder. I’m full of creativity and the determination to keep learning and expand my knowledge and skills.

Most recently I've been a Storyboard Artist at ReDefine on kids animated shows - 'Walk Off The Earth' and 'Heroes In Training'. Before that I was a Junior Story Artist at Aardman Animations on 'Chicken Run 2'. Previously I was a Junior Story Artist and Story Production Assistant on 'Ron's Gone Wrong' at Locksmith Animation.

After graduating with a MSc and BA(Hons) in Animation from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, I was then the Animator in Residence there in 2015.

At university I gained experience in directing, project management and all creative/technical roles involved in the production pipeline of a 3D animated film.

I have strong drawing skills and lots of experience with life and observational drawing. I regularly sign up for arts and crafts workshops, including calligraphy, bookbinding, pottery, and drawing classes.

Throughout this course I worked on developing animations skills, researching and exploring how to create convincing and believable character performances, through the production of a short film I directed and animated on. I worked an industry-set project which was a very valuable experience. The start of the course also ran a 48 hour film project which gave me experience organising, shooting and then editing a short film.
